Gamification usually focuses on a game as a means to deliver tailored content. I wish to explore an alternative, where analyzing the mechanics of playing a game allow students to enact core concepts of information literacy. Building on a successful model I have previously used, we will be doing an interactive session using The Stanley Parable and Untitled Goose Game to experience; “Authority is Constructed and Contextual”, “Research as Inquiry”, and “Searching as Strategic Exploration.”
