This presentation reports on an LSU Libraries Special Collections Summer Project, in which undergraduate researcher Jessie Bourgeois used the Grace King Papers and related collections to explore representations of New Orleans at the turn of the twentieth century. Her work highlights the value of a high-profile collection for undergraduate research despite its complex administrative history and access considerations.
